ABOUT US The BLOG BETTER BOSTON Conference is a one day event created for bloggers, by bloggers. Conferences attendees can expect specialized workshops geared specifically towards their blogging needs and panel discussions where they can learn from other bloggers, as well as brands. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact and network with other bloggers & brands between sessions and at a post-conference event. Alana is a 4’11” freelance social media manager and personal style blogger. She’s been actively writing, editing and photographing for her blog, The Good Girl Gone Blog, for over three years. Alana graduated from BU’s college of communication with a degree in PR and has both agency and corporate social media marketing experience. Alana is extremely passionate about bringing brands and bloggers together and has begun offering consulting services in this area.
Amy is a web designer and retail store manager turned Personal Style Blogger. She has 12+ years experience in interactive design and content management as well as 4 years of retail merchandising under her belt. Most of Amy’s passions in life seem to revolve around the applied arts: Interior Design, Web/Graphic Design, Photography, and of course, for the purpose of her blog, Fashion. Stylish Year came about because it encompassed so many of those passions all into one project that has enriched her life more then she ever thought possible.
